Open Evening

On Monday 11th March, Primary 2a had their topic Open Evening. Everyone in the class had invited their friends and families along to be guests on the night. All the children were so proud showing off all the hard work they have done over the course of the term and the children and their guests also enjoyed taking part in the other activities including a map quiz and a treasure hunt. Just about everyone managed to find the treasure and get some gold doubloons (or chocolate coins!) and Scott was the lucky winner of the DVD!

Litter pick

Primary 2a, along with many other classes in our school, took part in a litter pick with two of the wardens. We are very proud of our school and our Green Flag status so want to make sure it always looks its best - especially with no litter! Even though we had a couple of rain showers, everybody involved worked really hard and had fun too!

Topic challenge

A massive well done to all the boys and girls in room 5 for their excellent effort and creations in our Pirate topic challenge! Every person in brought in something excellent and we were both proud and excited when admiring all of the children's work. There were fantastic flags, terrific treasure chests and magnificent maps to name just a few. Have a look at the photos to see just how great they are. All the boys and girls can't wait to show these, along with rest of their work, at our Open Evening on 11th March!

Generation Science

Rooms 3, 4, 5 and 6 were visited by Benny and Jack from Generation Science. What a great time we had! We learned lots about the Earth, the Sun and the Moon and were entertained too! Primary 2 had learned lots about this in their term 1 Science topic, so it was great to see how much we remembered and build upon all that we had learned!
